Grove Leadership

I am more aware of my values and what I want to live by, also what I want to do with my life and the opportunities I can take advantage of.
— 2026 Grove Participant
Before utilizing what I learned from Grove, I would make decisions based on how I how felt, not really thinking about the outcome and all the impacts it would have on myself and people around me. Now, I take time to think about all the impacts.
— 2026 Grove Participant
I was able to learn more about the importance of mindset, direction for my future, and how to set goals to become the best version of myself.

Overview
I founded Grove Leadership in 2026 as an independent cohort-based leadership development program for young women in the San Francisco Bay Area, grounded in organizational psychology and experiential learning. My focus was on creating a structured, values-driven learning experience that built self-awareness, resilience, and the relational skills needed to navigate school, work, and community with intention.

My Role
I led every dimension of the program independently, from curriculum design, to facilitation, to program evaluation. My responsibilities included:

  • Developing six workshop modules covering identity and values, growth mindset and resilience, life and college design, nontraditional opportunities, career exposure, and portfolio development

  • Grounding each module in organizational psychology frameworks including strengths-based development, growth mindset research, and experiential learning theory

  • Creating participant workbooks, reflection prompts, and facilitation guides for each session

  • Leading all six sessions as the primary facilitator for a cohort of young women aged fourteen to fifteen

  • Creating psychological safety and structured dialogue across sessions

  • Sourcing and securing space at the Mountain View Public Library

  • Designing and distributing participant and parent communications

  • Building the program website, social media presence, and enrollment materials

Approach Used
The program was informed by:

  • Experiential learning — Participants applied frameworks through structured activities and real-world reflection rather than passive instruction

  • Strengths-based development — Each module built on participants' existing assets rather than deficit-focused improvement

  • Community learning — Cohort design created peer accountability and relational support as a core feature of the learning experience

Coaching

Overview
I am an independent coach currently building toward my Associate Certified Coach credential with the International Coaching Federation. I work with early career professionals to develop the skills needed to receive, seek, and use feedback as a deliberate tool for growth.

What Is Feedback Coaching?
Feedback coaching is a performance-focused coaching practice built on the premise that the ability to receive and use feedback is a learnable skill, not a fixed personality trait. Most professional development invests in teaching people to give feedback more effectively. My practice focuses on the individual receiver, helping clients develop the awareness, emotional regulation, and behavioral follow-through needed to actually integrate feedback and grow from it.

My Role
I design and deliver coaching engagements My responsibilities include:

  • Identify and articulate ongoing strategic realities and opportunities

  • Develop effective strategy & structures for implementing desired outcome

  • Encourage critical evaluation of current practices and operating procedures

  • Catalyze out-of-the-box thinking for developing new solutions to existing problems and new opportunities

  • Serve as a sounding board and bring critical thinking on initiatives and ideas

  • Share best practices in relevant areas for personal and professional growth

Approach Used
My coaching practice is informed by

  • Feedforward methodology — Focusing on future-oriented input and growth rather than past-oriented critique and judgment

  • Behavioral design — Structuring coaching and workshop experiences to produce specific, observable behavior change rather than general insight or motivation
